I contracted Thomas to build out a kitchenette and living room in our upstairs "bonus room" so grandma and grandpa could move in with us. Our goal was to give them as much independence in a fully functional living space as possible, and not just a room in our house. The result was absolutely amazing in every way. Tom's schedule and estimates were spot on with only a couple of minor change requests (initiated by us). The cabinetry work is some of the best I've seen; it easily exceeds the quality of what we have downstairs. I cannot say enough good things about Tom and the work his company did! I was very nervous about remodeling our master bath, since we had never taken on such a huge project before. Tom was very patient with me, answering numerous questions about the Estimate and project. He also had some great ideas for the bath that I hadn't thought of. Once the project started, he was very responsive when I had questions or doubts. He was very fair about change orders, and he worked hard to ensure I was satisfied with him and his craftsmen. Tom stopped over often to check on their progress, and when new craftsmen were brought on for various parts of the project, he always came over to get them started and ensure they knew exactly what needed to be done. At the end of the 5-week project, I had only 8 minor issues that needed his attention. Tom had his people here the next day, and they took care of every one of them! His office staff was also very responsive, and I often got a reply to my questions from both Tom and his office staff, Alison. She also provided very helpful and detailed reports on spending, which helped me with budgeting. Tom was very transparent about costs and materials, which I did not expect. The vendors that Tom worked with for my shower glass, Legacy Glass, and marble countertop, Phoenix Stone, were top notch and very responsive as well. We hired Tom to rebuild a large, walk-in shower after the first contractor we hired did not work out. Tom was excellent to work with and totally rebuilt the shower from the drain up. Everything he did for us was top of the line work including intricate tile work, drain installation, water damage repair from the old shower, and he even installed a beautiful frameless glass door. Tom Glass has completed multiple projects for us. The largest was a kitchen remodel for our casita. This included an island extension, additional cabinets, and lighting fixtures. Tom was able to match existing cabinet design and stain as well as match the existing granite. We used Tom again to add a garage attic entrance for additional storage above our garage. This included flooring the attic. I thought this would be complex but his crew completed in a single day. Most recently we used Tom to build us a barn door to close off the play room. He sourced reclaimed wood from an old store and built a beautiful door from scratch that works great.
